Everyone needs to grow up

The stimulus bill.
wow.
people need to CALM THE HELL DOWN.

Would republicans really be happy with it if Bush was the one who pushed it through? Would Democrats be happy if he had?

We needed this. Nothing is instant. What did people want? An automatic $50,000 put in their bank account?

AND - let's clear something up. Making your doctors records electronic is NOT going to DENY you care!!! WHat it IS going to do, is save TIME and MONEY for when you get a referral somewhere - so that the doctor can look and see what other treatments you have had before he tries one on you. IT IS GOOD. think of how many tests we have for something - over and over again. Well, this will make it THAT much faster. TRUST ME, had they had this when I moved to NY it would have saved me many ultra sounds for my OB/GYN, and ultimately, saved ME MONEY! So calm yourselves down...
and why dont we RESEARCH things before we spout concerns!

No one is ever going to be satisfied.
If they HADNT passed a bill, people would be irate. A bill passes, people are STILL irate.
When republicans were in power, they complained about democrats being annoying. NOw that the Dems are in power, they are complaining we arent doing what they want. Obama SPOKE to TONS of republicans about the stimulus bill (which should be called the JOBS BILL) he TRIED. But they were stubborn.

So. We have a stimulus bill.

My theory - everyone is stressed out. Everyone is FREAKING OUT because we are in a RECESSION maybe even a DEPRESSION. And we now live in a world of instant gratification. And that hasn't happened with this whole crisis. It WILL NOT be instant. and never will be.

So everyone just relax and sit tight. Until things change, enjoy some dvds at home, home cooked meals, and hanging out in living rooms.
